Cancer is an X-file

Yup, that's right, cancer is an X-file.  It an unsolvable mystery in a series of unsolvable mysteries.  We have to stop asking how we got cancer.  We have to stop asking why us.  We have to stop wondering what we did or how we did this to ourselves.  There is no answer that will satisfy -- because life is a mystery.  Life is dishes out an unbelievable X-file to solve every day. 

Don't invest your energy in solving the mystery of why you have cancer.  Instead, invest your energy in rolling with it.  Starting right now, give up the need to know why things happen as they do.  Starting right now, give up the need to know why you and why cancer.  Invest your energy in learning how to live with it gracefully.

And about the Law of Attraction.... did you manifest your cancer?  Isn't that how it works?  Think about bad stuff and it happens to you?  Did you sit around thinking thoughts about having cancer and thus attract into your life?  No! you didn't!  Don't lay that blame on yourself ever!  Many of the Law of Attraction teachings out there in the myriad of books, DVDs and websites are oversimplified.  You didn't want cancer, you didn't visualize it consciously or subconsciously.  As I said above....it's an X-file mystery and we're all going to stop investing our energy in trying to solve it.

Move into "Ok, I'm never going to solve this.  Show me how to live with it."  Move into radical acceptance.  Move into learning from your cancer.  Become the phoenix, rising from the ashes to fly again.

I don't know why I was chosen at 22 years old to suffer through Hodgkin's Disease and all of the pains associated.  But I do know that if I hadn't, you wouldn't have read these words.
